Jaydee Bixby Nominated for CCMA Rising Star Award
 The Canadian Country Music Association® (CCMA®) announced today the nominees for the 2011 Canadian Country Music Awards and Jaydee Bixby has picked up a coveted nomination for the "Rising Star" award. This is the second year in a row Bixby has received this distinction, recognizing the best new talent in Canadian country music. "It's a real honour to be nominated two years in a row," commented Bixby, "I appreciate the recognition by my peers and the association." Past "Rising Star" award winners have included country heavy hitters Johnny Reid, George Canyon, and Shane Yellowbird. The 2011 Canadian Country Music Awards will be broadcast live on CBC Television from Copps Coliseum in Hamilton, ON, on September 12, 2011 at 8:00 pm (8:30pm NT), with an encore broadcast on CMT.
